FAIRBORN, Ohio (WDTN) - The Boonshoft School of Medicine at Wright State University is under an auditor's microscope.
Auditor of State, Dave Yost, found nearly $50,000 in missing gift cards.
The audit says the cards were intended for participants in medical studies, but were never distributed and cannot be accounted for.
Seven people were also noted for various expenditures that were not for a proper public purpose or had lack of documentation.
The findings were sent to local authorities for investigation and to decide on possible prosecution.
The entire finding of about $95,000 was repaid to the university by a private organization, Wright State Physicians.
