FAIRBORN, Ohio (WDTN) - Four Dayton men have been indicted in connection to a failed robbery attempt that ended with a fifth suspect being shot to death.

The five went to 1006 Victoria Ave. in Fairborn on Jan. 28, 2013 and forced their way into the victims’ home in an attempt to rob them, according to Fairborn detectives.

In the ensuing struggle, one of the victims, Christopher Muse shot 19-year-old Ta’Vaun J. Fambrough in the chest and 20-year-old Anthony Barwick II was shot in the leg. Fambrough later died at the hospital, while Barwick was treated for his injuries and released.

Barwick, along with Deron McGuire Jr., 23, London Norman, 23, and Tavaughn Lewis, 19, each were indicted Feb. 11, 2013, on charges of murder, involuntary manslaughter, aggravated burglary, and aggravated robbery.

All four are being held in the Greene County Jail.

The grand jury did not indict Muse, or the second victim living in the Victoria Ave. home, Trent Seitz.
