YELLOW SPRINGS, Ohio (WDTN) - Friends and family will hold a walk in Yellow Springs to show their support for a Bellbrook football player who has been diagnosed with cancer.
The Walk for Lymphoma will be held Saturday from 7 p.m to 12 a.m. at Yellow Springs High School located at 420 East Enon Road in Yellow Springs.
Snacks and refreshments will be available for purchase.
A DJ and raffles will be available to keep walkers moving throughout the evening.
Jason Mann, a sophomore football player for Bellbrook's Screaming Eagles was diagnosed with B cell Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma when he took a hit to the sternum during a football game and doctors examined him for precautionary measures.
Jason is undergoing chemotherapy and treatment at Dayton Children's Hospital.
The proceeds from Saturday's event will go towards The Jason Mann Fund and American Cancer Society.
There is also a fund set up at Key Bank in Jason's name.
