BEAVERCREEK, Ohio (WDTN) - The Battling Beavers of Beavercreek went the whole nine yards Friday night to help a pee wee program from its gridiron rival.
Half time of the Beavercreek-Fairborn game turned into a show of solidarity between the two communities.
The Beavercreek football club presented a check for $150 to the Fairborn athletic director to help cover the money stolen from the Wee Hawks football program.
The money will help recoup some of the $165 stolen September 15.
The group pays for it's own equipment such as helmets and pads.
Collection buckets were also set up at the entrances to Friday night's game.
Fairborn detectives continue to investigate the reported theft.
