YELLOW SPRINGS, Ohio (WDTN) - Former Ohio Governor Ted Strickland and candidate for Congress Sharen Neuhardt held a press conference and canvass kickoff in Yellow Springs Saturday afternoon.
The event was held at the Old Timber Yard located at 108 Cliff Street in Yellow Springs at 1:00 p.m.
During the conference, Strickland claimed Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan have been dishonest with Ohioans and have failed to provide proposals to move the country forward.
He also criticized Romney, saying he pretended to stand on the side of auto workers despite urging Detroit to go bankrupt.
The press conference was held in response to the Republican Victory Rally bus tour across Ohio. Ryan will visit Young's Jersey Dairy in Yellow Springs later Saturday afternoon.
