FAIRBORN, Ohio (WDTN) - Marcus Moore is a master of small talk just one year after he couldn't even be a boss of Big Macs.

"McDonald's was giving me the run-around, so you can understand where that's coming from," Moore says.

That's how tough Moore says the job market was in Detroit where he lived, so he moved here for an opportunity at a company called Teleperformance.

"My cousin referred me here and the rest is history," Moore says.

Now others will have a chance to join Moore at Teleperformance.

The call center is hidden in a Fairborn shopping center next to a beauty salon, but it's business is growing faster than any head of hair.

The company is adding 150 jobs after just adding 100 in August.

"We're really on the hunt for some folks who are motivated to sell," says Manager Mike Lewis. "Folks who are motivated in customer service."

The company is even offering a dollar bonus for every customer you "save" on the phone. At 500 to 1,000 calls a month, that can really add up.

They're also hoping it adds up to a lot of applications.

"We want to draw these folks who have been phased out or done an early retirement and want to make some money," Lewis says.

Or for those like Moore who is happier chatting than cooking.

"I've enjoyed it," Moore says. "It's a nice work environment."

The company is extending its hours for interviews at its 57 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Rd. location. It will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Jan. 22-25 and 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Jan. 26th.
