BEAVERCREEK, Ohio (WDTN) - A dispute over house cleaning chores is what lead to three men being injured, with at least two being stabbed, according to a Beavercreek police investigation.
Police and medics were called to the 1543 Grange Hall Road just before 4 p.m. Monday after a fight broke out inside the house, then spilled out into the front yard. According to Capt. Jeff Fiorita, during the fight several weapons were involved, including a knife, a club, and a hammer.
Two of the men were taken to Miami Valley Hospital and the third was taken to Soin Medical Center to be treated for their injuries. Two of the three men have been released. The third remains at Miami Valley Hospital. He is one of the two who was stabbed, according to detectives.
Fiorita said all three men, ages 25, 26, and 27, live at the Grange Hall address. Two of them are family members, while the third is a friend.
The investigation is ongoing and no charges have been filed at this time. Detectives are expected to meet with the county prosecutor Tuesday morning. Charges are expected to be filed.
