Smoky fire leaves one injured

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - A Dayton man was rushed to the hospital Tuesday night after a fire in his home.

Firefighters arrived at 17 Brighton Avenue around 8:45 pm.

They found the victim unconscious in the smoke filled basement.

He was taken to Miami Valley Hospital for treatment. His condition is not known.

Fire crews are now investigating how the blaze started.
