DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - Alert citizens help police bust a couple of stolen car suspects Monday night.
Police received a 911 call around 7:30 pm when someone spotted the stolen car.
Police stopped it at Pontiac Avenue and Broadway Street.
They took two men into custody and were questioning them.
Officers say it's a good example of citizens working together with police
"This is one of those cases that the community knew there was a problem with this vehicle and they contacted us. They didn't make contact, they kept themselves safe and we as the police department came in and did the proper job to take the two into custody," said Sgt. Jeffrey Thomas, Dayton Police Department.
No word on charges against the suspects.
The inspections are available at public boat launch ramps through June.
