DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - Dayton city leaders and neighbors came together Wednesday to try to save a piece of Wright Brothers history.

Hidden inside the old Gem City Ice Building on West Thrid Street are the interior walls of what used to be the first Wright Brothers Bicycle Shop.

It's on the Register of Historical Places, but the city has begun the process to tear it down.

Neighbors have a plan to bring back the bike shop as a museum and an old style ice cream parlor. City leaders are happy to hear it.

While the plan may sound exciting, organizers still have to find the money to rehab the building.
