Arrest warrant issued in rapper murder

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - New information about the brutal killing of a man in the middle of a Harrison Township street.
An arrest warrant has now been issued for 18-year-old Levi Slaughter.
Investigators say he shot Douglas "Dougie" Byrd in the back of the head last week.
Originally, officials told 2 News the shooting was gang related, but now say that's not the case.
The motive remains unclear at this time.
Dougie was supposed to perform at Club Heat Friday.
Instead, his fellow rappers and friends will perform in his honor.
