DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - The SOFAST Task Force has just made an arrest for the murder of a Dayton rapper.
Police confirm to 2 News that Levi Slaughter is in custody. Police have been looking for him since the shooting death of Douglas Byrd, 30, in January. They reportedly picked him in up at a home in Huber Heights.
He was killed on the street in the 3900 block of Salem Avenue.
Byrd's family has been very vocal about finding a suspect in this case.
Slaughter, 18, is currently in police custody at the Dayton Police Department.
The following people have recently been booked into Jail. They may not have been convicted of the crimes they are charged with and are innocent until proven guilty.
