DAYTON (WDTN) - A body found in the Great Miami River on Saturday has been identified.

The Montgomery County Coroner's office said the victim is Linda Shockley.

She'd been missing from her Harrison Township home since December 25th.

Birdwatchers spotted Shockley's body just before 11 Saturday morning.

The coroner's office will perform an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
