VERSAILLES, Ohio (WDTN) - A Versailles man was killed in a crash involving a semi truck Tuesday morning.

Darke County Deputies say Mark Pax, 67, was killed at the intersection of Reed Road and Long Road, just north of Versailles.

Investigators believe Pax was entering the intersection shortly after 9:00am when the semi struck his SUV on the passenger's side. Both vehicles then veered off into a grassy field.

The truck driver, Larry Marrs, 63, of Piqua, was treated and released for his injuries.

Pax was dead at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
