Greenville man jailed after huge fire

Damage was over $100,000

GREENVILLE, Ohio (WDTN) - Michael McDonald, the man accused of setting a huge warehouse on fire in downtown Greenville is now in jail.

McDonald is being held on a $10,000 bond after being arrested for arson.

Investigators believe McDonald set a downtown warehouse on fire July 16 and may have started blazes in other downtown buildings over a three day period.

The damage to the warehouse surpassed $100,000.

If convicted, McDonald could spend 15 years in prison and a $5,000 fine.
