NEW MADISON, Ohio (WDTN) - The Darke County Sheriff's Department is investigating a fatal accident.
Rescue crews responded to the intersection of Richmond-Palestine Road and Rush Road near New Madison.
Investigators say Mary Behee, 85, of New Madison, entered the intersection and was struck on the driver's side by an oncoming SUV.
Behee died at the scene. Her husband, Wells, 86, is listed in serious condition at Wayne HealthCare.
The driver of the other car, Matthias Bowser, 16, of New Paris, was treated for minor injuries.
The accident remains under investigation.
The following people have recently been booked into Jail. They may not have been convicted of the crimes they are charged with and are innocent until proven guilty.
