GREENVILLE, Ohio (WDTN) - Darke County Sheriff Issues Level 1 Snow Emergency
A Level 1 Snow Emergency has been issued for Darke County due to hazardous road conditions caused by falling and blowing snow.
Darke County Sheriff Toby L. Spencer has issued a Level 1 Snow Emergency for Darke County. This Snow Emergency has been issued to warn those who must travel on Darke County roadways to use extreme caution due to hazardous road conditions. Snow continues to fall across Darke County and most roadways are snow covered and hazardous. Winds will increase this evening and blowing and drifting will occur in open areas.
This Level 1 Snow Emergency takes effect immediately at 1:00 PM.
A Level 1 Snow Emergency does not impose any restrictions on travel. Motorists may travel at their own risk.
