GREENVILLE, Ohio (WDTN) - The driver of a van was in critical condition when she was flown by CareFlight to Miami Valley Hospital after an accident Tuesday morning in Darke County.

Susan North, 56, of Greenville, was eastbound on Kruckeburger Road at US 127 and failed to yield at the stop sign, investigators said.

A large box truck smashed into her passenger side, the impact sending both vehicles off the road.

Two people in truck were taken to local hospitals by ambulance.  They were identified Tuesday afternoon as the driver, Dylan Laird, 23, of Kettering and David Howerton, 26.

The crash remains under investigation.
