GREENVILLE, Ohio (WDTN) - When the New England Patriots offensive line takes the field this Sunday, look for number 72.

That is 1996 Greenville High School graduate, Matt Light.

Light has already has three Super Bowl rings and has made five trips to the big game.

"It's been really a neat experience over the years," said Greenville Athletic Director, T.J. Powers.

Powers, the current Greenville football coach, was one of Light's teammates in 1996.

"He was a leader. He was easy to follow," said Powers. "I mean he was 6'5, 240. So, you couldn't miss him, but he had just a quality about him that you knew that he was going to be successful".

Like many in town, Powers has kept a close eye on Light's career accomplishments.

He was recently inducted into the Greenville Athletic Hall of Fame. It is just one of the many marks Light left on his hometown.

"Everyone is going to be watching and everyone is going to be rooting for him," said Powers. "It's something that we can take pride in".
