GREENVILLE, Ohio (WDTN) - Two men are hospitalized overnight after falling from the bed of a truck while leaving Eldora Speedway Thursday evening.
William Powers, 53, of Toledo, and Jerry Boes, 39, of Las Vegas, Nevada, were both CareFlighted to Miami Valley Hospital after the truck they were riding in the bed of pulled out of the speedway onto North Star Ft. Loramie Road.
Four occupants were in the bed of the truck, being driven by 33-year-old Holly Burlile, of Tiffin, when they went over a gravel incline resulting in Powers and Boes falling from the truck.
Powers was listed in critical condition late Thursday and Boes' condition is unknown. The Darke County Sheriff's Office continues to investigate. Stay with 2 News both on-air and online for updates.
