GERMAN TOWNSHIP (WDTN) - Two Clark County children were injured Monday morning by a falling television.

A mother called from her apartment at 2107 Troy Road in German Township around 10:30 and told dispatchers a TV toppled over on her twins.

The children, an 18-month-old boy and girl pulled the TV over onto themselves, according to officials at the Clark County Sheriff's Office.

Miami Valley Hospital's CareFlight helicopter was called to transport the twins to Children's Medical Center for treatment. Emergency personnel at the scene told 2 NEWS the girl apparently suffered injuries to her abdomen and the boy appeared to have a head injury.

The accident is being investigated by the German Township Police Department.
