CLARK CO., Ohio (WDTN) - A new tribute was unveiled Tuesday for a fallen Clark County deputy.
Clark County sheriff's cruisers now sport a black front license plate with a thin blue line.
It's to honor Deputy Suzanne Hopper who was killed in a shoot out at Enon Beach on New Year's Day 2011.
Her comrades chose the symbol in her honor.
"The thin blue line represents law enforcement being the color blue and it's a line that separates between chaos and peace," said Lt. Dustin White, Clark County Sheriff's Office.
The front license plate on cruisers is always a tribute.
It has been a plate that read United We Stand for the victims of 9/11 for the past decade.
The following people have recently been booked into Jail. They may not have been convicted of the crimes they are charged with and are innocent until proven guilty.
