SPRINGFIELD, Ohio (WDTN) - A local businessman is making t-shirts as a memorial to a Clark County native killed in the Colorado movie theater massacre.

Matt McQuinn was one of twelve people killed in Aurora, Colorado Friday, July 20. His girlfriend, Samantha Yowler, survived.

David Kasel, a friend of McQuinn, designed a special t-shirt in his honor.

"I just thought it would be a good thing to help his family out and get the word out about Matt, what he did and how selfless he was," said Kasel.

All of the proceeds from the shirts will go directly to McQuinn's family to help cover funeral costs.
