Springfield Elder Beerman store closing

SPRINGFIELD, Ohio (WDTN) - There will soon be one less Elder Beerman store in the Miami Valley.
The Springfield store will close at the end January 2013.
Bon-Ton managers say poor sales are the main reason for the closure. It will affect 40 jobs.
Those employees will offered the opportunity to interview for open positions at other Elder Beerman locations.
