CLARK Co., Ohio (WDTN) - Clark County deputies are investigating a reported sexual assault onboard a school bus.
A parent whose child attends Tecumseh Middle School is upset about the timing of the event.
The parent says she was just notified of the accusations, but that the principal was made aware on January 18.
She says she would have pulled her child off the bus sooner had she known about the incident.
Tecumseh Superintendent Brad Martin released the following statement to 2 NEWS:
"Tecumseh Local Schools makes the safety and well-being of every student a top priority. In this case, we have separated the students on the bus and contacted the Clark County Sheriff's Office. We are cooperating with the sheriff's office with their investigation. Once we know the outcome of the investigation, we will apply the appropriate disciplinary measures, if the outcome warrants discipline."
The investigation continues. So far, no charges have been filed.
