SPRINGFIELD, Ohio (WDTN) - Watch your speed as you head out this weekend. Extra patrols are watching for violators.
The third annual Crime Night started Friday evening and will run through Sunday morning.
Clark County deputies are joining forces with Springfield police.
They will be looking for impaired drivers on several roads in the area.
"You're gonna see a higher visability of officers, hopefully that will help assist for a faster response time. These officers currently out looking for these violations are also available to handle crashes that may occur, so you need to just slow down and pay attention because you're going to see a lot of us out," said Lt. Dustin White, Clark County Sheriff's Office.
100 hours of federal funds are being used for these saturation patrols.
