CLARK COUNTY, Ohio (WDTN) - Outdoor workers are finding clever ways to stay warm during freezing temperatures.

Dric Mowell has worked with the Ohio Edison company for seven years.  He has developed a few techniques to get through the cold days.

"Definitely layering. We also have those little hot packs.  Sometimes you can stuff them inside your shirt to keep you warm a little bit," said Mowell.

An employee with Ohio Edison said they also wear protective masks to shield them from the freezing wind.
