Clark County teen dies in head-on crash

GREEN TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WDTN) - A Clark County teen was killed in a head-on collision Sunday night.

Cady M. Reed, 18, of South Vienna, was traveling on Selma Pike when she drove her 2001 Ford Escort left of center, striking a  2005 Ford Escape driven by Kyle Nelson , 21, of Springfield.

Nelson and his passenger were taken to Springfield Regional Hospital with minor injuries.  

Reed was pronounced dead at the scene by the Clark County Coroner’s Office.

The accident happened about 11:45 near the intersection of Old Springfield Road and closed Selma Pike at Old Springfield Road road for approximately three hours.
