South Charleston, Ohio (WDTN) - Each day, thousands of kids stay home from school because they don't want to deal with the bullying they face at the hands of a classmate.
Some students cut themselves or even take their own life to escape the relentless torment.
Dan Edwards spoke with two guys, Scott Hannah a senior at Southeastern High School in South Charleston and his buddy Tyler Gregory who is now a Freshman at Wright State University.
They've created an anti-bullying video that's helps their peers deal with the ugly issue of bullying that is prevalent in every school in the nation.
It's a simple message that gets the point across that bullying can destroy lives.
They hope their video shows students that they DO have options.
Edwards sat down to talk with Tyler and Scott about their video and the impact it's made on their school and how their efforts have won them a prestigious national award that have the pair traveling all over the country spreading their anti-bullying message.
Tyler and Scott will host a discussion Thursday at 6 p.m. at Chakeres Theaters off Route 40 in Springfield.
Its free but tickets are required, which can be pick up at the theaters box office.
