Pizza driver hits man in Spfld Township

SPRINGFIELD TWP., Ohio (WDTN) - A pizza driver making a delivery struck a man with his SUV Thursday night in Springfield Township.
The accident happened in the 1300 block of East National Road around 7:30 pm.
The Careflight helicopter removed the victim to Miami Valley Hospital for treatment. His injuries are reported to be critical.
Investigators say the pizza driver was westbound and hit the victim from behind. The victim tumbled into a ditch.
The driver called 911 to report the accident.
No charges have been filed as of now, but the case could be sent to a grand jury.
