Man apparently shoots himself while cleaning gun

NEW CARLISLE, Ohio (WDTN) - A New Carlisle man apparently shot himself Friday evening while cleaning his gun.
Police and fire crews arrived at a home on Henry Street around 9:15 p.m. to find the victim shot in the abdomen.
They called the Careflight helicopter to fly him to Miami Valley Hospital for treatment. His condition is unknown.
The investigation continues.
