Drug suspect arrested in Springfield

CLARK CO., Ohio (WDTN) - Clark County Sheriff deputies say they've taken a busy drug dealer off the streets.
Deputies arrested Michael Lee Daugherty. He is charged with drug trafficking and is being held in the Clark County Jail.
Deputies spotted Daugherty in Springfield around 2:40pm Wednesday. Daugherty ran from police, but was caught after a short foot pursuit.
Investigators also stopped a car belonging to Daugherty and arrested his girlfriend, Amber Call.
She is also charged with drug trafficking and is being held in the Clark County Jail.
Both are scheduled into court Thursday, February 2 at 11:00am. Sheriff Gene Kelly has scheduled a news conference just before the court appearances.
