SPRINGFIELD, Ohio (WDTN) - Deputies in Clark County tracked down a convicted sex offender wanted for failure to register his address.
David Hopping, 47, was convicted 2008 on an attempted importuning charge. Because of the conviction, Hopping was classified a sexually oriented offender and is required to register his address once a year for 10 years.
Sheriff Gene Kelly told 2 NEWS Hopping was arrested July 25, 2012.
He's being held in the Clark County Jail.
