ENON, Ohio (WDTN) - The help wanted sign is up at growing company in Enon.

After months of construction, Seepex unveiled it's new state-of-the-art facility Friday.

They're still looking for folks to help fill it.

For longtime Seepex employee, Karl Erling, the company's expansion is almost hard to believe.

He's been with the specialized pump manufacturer for 18 years.

Back then it had 5 employees and operated out of a garage in Dayton. Not anymore.

"The lighting, the openness, basically we have some natural lighting and of course the cleanliness of it," said Karl Erling, Pump Assembly Supervisor.

We were there last fall when Seepex leaders broke ground on the expansion.

They tripled square footage in just over 11 months.

"Now, they have some elbow room, we had offices where there wasn't room really to standup and look at another persons computer screen, so a lot more space," said Mike Dillon, Seepex President.

Dillon, grew up in nearby Springfield and says he's committed to Clark County.

This was a 3.4 million construction project with an addition 4.5 million going to buy new equipment.

"If you want good employees and you want educated employees and you want employees that are going to care about what you do, you have to show them you care about them as well."

Seepex leaders say they're also invested in growing the local economy.

"We make it a point to work with employers and companies in the area so that as our company grow, they also grow along with us. so we are very sensitive to the fact that it is not just our own success, but to pass on that success to all of the companies in the community so they can also benefit along with us," said Kamran Mirza, Seepex Director of Business Development.

Business is good here at Seepex, but it's not square footage and sales that are growing.

Since last fall, Seepex has hired 14 new employees and is currently looking to bring on another eight.

"We're growing and always looking for good people."
