NEW CARLISLE, Ohio (WDTN) - The body of a missing teenager in Clark County was found Monday afternoon.
The body of Jacob Haney, 17, was found in a wooded area on the south end of New Carlisle.
Haney was reported missing September 18. His family said the last time they saw him was the night before when he left home to play basketball at Smith Park.
Deputies searched the park and surrounding area, but found nothing at the time.
It was believed that Haney was despondent over a breakup with a girlfriend.
Clark County deputies say there appears to be no foul play involved, but officers worried about a possible suicide as their search ensued.
The investigation is ongoing.
