SPRINGFIELD, Ohio (WDTN) - Alcohol is believed to be a factor in a motorcycle accident in Springfield.
The accident happened around 10:30 p.m. Saturday at I-675 and I-70.
According to officials, 56-year-old Clifford Combs was traveling north on Interstate 675 when he attempted to merge onto Interstate 70 East.
Authorities said Combs lost control on the entrance ramp, drove off the left side of the road, and overturned his bike.
Combs was thrown from his bike and landed in a grassy area. He was taken to Springfield Regional Medical Center by Mad River Township EMS for treatment.
