Body found in roadway in Champaign Co.

CHAMPAIGN CO., Ohio (WDTN) - Champaign County Sheriff deputies are investigating a body found in the middle of a rural road.
Investigators say passersby discovered the body along Hickory Grove Road near State Route 55 around 6:30 pm Thursday evening.
They say it appears the man suffered from a gunshot wound, but they aren't sure yet exactly why the shooting happened or how the man ended up in the road.
