Alert neighbors help capture suspects

CHAMPAIGN CO., Ohio (WDTN) - Two men were arrested Tuesday after some alert neighbors spotted them allegedly breaking into Champaign County property.

Investigators say witnesses saw the duo inside a barn near Route 4 in the southern part of the county.

Deputies were called and following a short chase.  One of the suspects was caught.

The other was found a little while later hiding in a pile of wood.

Officials tell us both men were arrested with copper wiring and other scrap metal in their car.

The incident remains under investigation.
