URBANA, Ohio (WDTN) - Two people escaped injury after the small plane they were in crashed into a snow bank.
Trooper Kathy Durham with the Ohio State Patrol, Marysville Post said the pilot was with an instructor, when he tried to land the nose wheel plane. Durham said the pilot misjudged the landing, hit snow and landed in a snow bank. The front wheel of the plane was broken, and the propeller and right wing of the plane were damaged. Neither the pilot or the instructor were injured.
Durham said the patrol contacted the Federal Aviation Administration about the crash, but was unsure about what charges, if any, the driver would face.
