Friends offer $10,000 reward for information on Monroe woman's death

MONROE, Ohio (WDTN) - A $10,000 reward is being offered for information that will lead to solving the case of a Monroe woman found dead.

The body of Barbara Howe, 87, was found in the trunk of her car that was found parked at the Woodbridge Apartments in  MIddletown Nov. 1, 2012. She was last seen alive on Oct. 28, 2012.

The retirement community where she lived, Mount Pleasant Retirement Village, is putting up $5,000 of the reward. The other $5,000 is being offered by her Hamilton High School graduating class of 1943.

Investigators have not revealed details on how she died, but they do say they are currently working several leads.
