DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - Dayton police tazed a man they said threatened an officer.

"He made a comment, for 50,000 dollars, he could get a cop taken out." Said Dayton Police Sgt. Judy Abshire.

After making that threat and others, Dayton police officers tazed him, put him in hand cuffs, and placed him in the back of a police cruiser.

Officers were called to his girlfriends apartment located at 224 Bruce Street, on a loud music complaint. But when police officers arrived, they said he wasn't happy they were there, and began yelling threats and refused officers requests to keep his hands out of his pockets.

The man is now facing charges of aggravated menacing and disorderly conduct.
