Man dies after car slams into tree

JEFFERSON TOWNSHIP (WDTN) - The investigation continues into a fatal accident, shutting down a portion of U.S. 35 Saturday night.

Montgomery County Sheriff deputies tell 2 News 58-year-old James Sizemore drove his Chevy Impala into a tree.

Deputies believe Sizemore was driving the car west on 35 when he lost control at the Snyder road intersection.

Deputies say the impact killed Sizemore, and it was his family that found him.

Investigators believe black ice may have caused the crash.
