DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - For the sixth year in a row, Health-Grades has named Miami Valley hospital a 'Distinguished Hospital for Clinical Excellence.'

This award, announced after midnight Tuesday, placed Miami Valley in the top 5 percent of hospitals nationwide for clinical performance. It's the second recognition the hospital has received from Health-Grades in the past four months.

Last October the organization named Miami Valley Hospital one of America's 100 best hospitals for cardiac care, cardiac surgery, and critical care.
