Police ID body found in backyard

The coroner's office will complete an autopsy

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - Police have identified the body found in the backyard of a vacant house in Dayton March 14.

The body of Kimberly S. Paradiso, 47, was discovered at 58 Warder St.

Neighborhood kids stumbled upon the body and a woman called police after she overheard the kids talking about it and went to see for herself.

"I just thought they were joking," said Anna Purks. "That's not something you see everyday."

It's not clear how long the body had been there.

The Montgomery County Coroner's Office will complete an autopsy to determine the cause of death.

Dayton police are handling the the death as a homicide investigation.

Paradiso's last known address was 377 Fernwood Ave. in Dayton.
