DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - 2 NEWS Investigates what a Dayton landlord least expected when he rented office space to a well-known tenant.
The office space is in the popular Oregon District. Jon Neidert owns this building on Fifth street. A year ago he leased space to a political campaign.
When he contacted 2 NEWS Investigates the election was over and he was trying to get money from the campaign to cover the cost of repairs he said he had to make after workers moved out.
Neidert described the situation to 2 NEWS Investigates, "It's the carpeting. You can put paint on the wall, but you put $6,000 worth of carpeting in a space and they virtually almost destroyed that, that's tough to swallow and they did that in 11 months."
Tonight on 2 NEWS at 6 find out who's responsible and what the landlord was able to recover after contacting 2 NEWS Investigates.
