INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — A central Indiana man has been indicted on federal child pornography charges.
The U.S. attorney's office in Indianapolis said Wednesday that 36-year-old Daniel Alan Jines of Whitestown had been indicted on charges of producing, receiving and possessing child pornography.
Court documents allege Jines abused a girl 10 to 13 years old girl between May 2008 and May 2010 and induced her to perform sexual acts which he recorded. The indictment lists more than a dozen such still images and video files.
Investigators also allegedly found Jines downloaded pornographic images of children, including toddlers, from the Internet.
Jines could face up to 20 years in prison if convicted.
Court records don't list an attorney for Jines. There was no answer Wednesday at a telephone number listed in his name.
