GREENFIELD MILLS, Ind. (AP) — State police say a northeast Indiana woman driving with four children in her car led police on a chase lasting about 10 miles, speeding up to 90 mph, before pulling over with a flat tire.

State police says they discovered an undetermined amount of methamphetamine in the purse of 29-year-old Jilyan Janelle Snyder. He says she is being held in the LaGrange County Jail on preliminary charges of four counts of neglect of a dependent, resisting law enforcement and possession of methamphetamine.

Police says a trooper tried to stop Snyder for a traffic violation about 11 p.m. Friday near the town of Greenfield Mills, 55 miles north of Fort Wayne, when she fled. The four children in the car ranged in age from 6 to 13.
