Huber Heights, Ohio (WDTN) - Two local businesses surprised a Huber Heights family Sunday, by fixing up their home to accommodate their 5-year-old daughter who suffers from cerebral palsy.
The Norris family went away on an all expenses paid vacation to Kings Island for the weekend. When they returned nearly $60,000 worth in renovations had been made to the inside of their home to help 5-year-old Tiffany Norris.
"There are no words to describe how grateful and thankful we are," said Terra Norris, mother of Tiffany.
'Bath Fitters' and 'Grab Bar Man' provided the supplies and labor free of charge.
The businesses made a number of changes including two ramps leading up to the front and back doors of the home, all new door handles, hallway railings and a new bathroom.
"Tiffany will now be able to use the bathroom by herself, brush her teeth and take a shower. It gives her the quality of life that we all desire," said Terra Norris.
"Its a blessing to see my daughter walk in our home by herself and not have to crawl down the hallway," said Steve Norris, father of Tiffany.
The following people have recently been booked into Jail. They may not have been convicted of the crimes they are charged with and are innocent until proven guilty.
