HUBER HEIGHTS, Ohio (WDTN) - Ohio Governor John Kasich announced the approval of assistance for five projects set to create 517 jobs and retain 1,443 jobs statewide, including one in Huber Heights.

Together the five projects are expected to result in more than $92 million in new payroll, and spur $31 million in investment across Ohio.

Tridec Technologies, of Huber Heights, will be among the projects picking up government tax credits. Tridec Technologies expects to create 25 full-time positions, generating $1.5 million in additional annual payroll and retaining $3 million in existing payroll as a result of the company's expansion project in Huber Heights.

Tridec Technologies specializes in program and technical management, development, and implementation of IT programs with the Department of Defense, other Federal Agencies and industry. The company was approved for a 45%, six-year Job Creation Tax Credit for this project.
