House burns down; Woman injured

SPRING VALLEY TOWNSHIP (WDTN) - Fire destroyed a house in Spring Valley Township Thursday morning.

The fire started about 6:00 inside a home on Bryan Court.

Firefighters arrived to find thick, black smoke billowing into the air.

One woman taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.

Authorities said the male occupant of the home, who at first was unaccounted for, was located safe, at a separate location.

No other injuries were reported.

Crews from at least five fire departments responded to the scene.

The two story home burned to the ground.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
